Synopsis

In the late 18th Century young Kitty Jay is taken from the workhouse and put to work on a farm on Dartmoor. Her happiness soon turns to disaster when a brief relationship with the farmer’s son leads to a disastrous end. Based on the classic Dartmoor Legend of Kitty Jay the film tells the tale of the last hours of this young girls life as she visits her church for the last time. During her time in the church Kitty makes three final prayers for forgiveness. Through a series of memories the tale unfolds as we follow her story of faith, hope, love and tragedy.
